Overview
Event organizers can customize the background colors of the navigation bar in Brella's apps to better fit the event's branding. The navigation colors can be linked to the overall color theme, or customized independently.
Note: This feature won’t be supported on native iOS / Android apps for the moment. Native app support will come at a later date.
Impact on ongoing events
This release will only visibly impact events where organizers actively select either the “Smart” and “Custom” nav bar themes.
How it works
Admin Panel: Enable the “Custom theme” feature and select nav bar theme options
To enable nav bar theming, event organizers need to visit the “Color theme” sub-tab in the “Customization” tab and enable the “Custom theme” option.
Once editable, there are three options for the nav bar theme:
- Default (uses the custom color scheme)
- Smart (uses the custom color theme, but allows organizers to define whether to use a light / dark nav bar, and select which of the custom colors are primary vs. secondary in the nav bar independent of the custom color theme’s preferences)
The light / dark options look as follows:
- Custom (allows the organizer to select separate colors for all Brella navigation independent of the color theme used for the rest of the app)
