Event organizers can customize the text in the attendee onboarding process, and decide whether attendees have the option to opt out of networking.

Impact on ongoing events
This release will only impact events if organizers actively customize the attendee joining / onboarding process. The default onboarding process is unaffected.
How it works
Admin Panel: Customize the welcome screen
Event organizers can navigate to the new “Welcome screen” sub-tab in the “Customization” tab to edit the titles, text and image displayed to new attendees on the welcome screen.
These changes will be displayed to new attendees during their onboarding as follows:
Admin Panel: Enable/ disable opting out of networking
Organizers can choose whether to toggle the “Enable opting out of Networking” in two places:
- When creating a new event, in the “Create Event” modal
- After an event is created and set-up, in the “Details” tab, under the “Networking” section
If the “Enable opting out of networking” toggle is disabled, attendees will not see this option during the welcome process, and will be forced to set-up networking and matchmaking in order to proceed further and join the event.
